UV Fast Hybrid Patch is a pre-saturated, "pre-preg", 1K, high-strength composite patching system with an integrated threaded port. The port lets you manage live flow during installation, and a 304 stainless steel square head plug is installed in the port as the final step. The patch uses a chemically resistant FRP construction resin with proprietary UV photoinitiation curing mechanisms that require no mixing. The composite is a hybrid E-Glass 18 OSY biaxial woven fabric stitch-bonded to a 0.75 OSF non-directional chopped strand mat (CSM), providing ultra-high strength in multiple directions.

 

The Hybrid Patch is designed for quick field repairs requiring no hot work permitting. It can be used on steel, stainless steel, alloys and other metals, fiberglass (FRP), PVC / CPVC, and more. Because of its resistance to corrosive chemicals, solvents, and oils, it is used in heavy industrial environments to repair pipes and fluid transport lines, and for live-leak diversion and fast structural repairs. Once hardened and cooled, the laminate can be machined, drilled, tapped, sanded, or painted. Fully cured, the product is resistant to harsh environmental conditions, offers UV resistance, and performs within a composite temperature range of -10°F to 360°F.

Choose a patch that extends at least 2–3 inches beyond the damaged area in all directions so the repair area is fully encapsulated and properly bounded for effective reinforcement and adhesion. Each patch is supplied with a 304 stainless steel square head plug and two 4 in wide tape wraps.
